Rose Cottage is a newly-refurbished two-story house with small patio area outside with seating for 2 persons. Downstairs there is a cosy living room, dining and kitchen area, and shower room. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds. One bed can be folded away underneath the other to allow extra space if this is required. There is also an upstairs bathroom.
Pets are welcome at Rose Cottage at a fee of £6 per pet, per night. While your furry friends are welcome, we ask that they remain downstairs and are supervised at all times. There are many dog-friendly local bars and places to eat in Nairn, and a list of these is provided in your welcome pack!
Rose Cottage is situated in the idyllic Fishertown area of Nairn. The Links (local green area for football and other activities) are a 30 second walk around the corner. This is where the famous and popular annual Highland Games is conducted, the only FREE to attend Highland Games in Scotland! The Links is a perfect place to take children of all ages to, as it has a park beside the beach and a supervised paddling pool (pool open in the summer months). The bandstand is a local landmark and is a beautiful place for pictures and picnics.
The beaches of Nairn are long and unspoilt, and a 2 minute walk from the doorstep of Rose Cottage. There are 2 main beaches in Nairn, and another a 5 minute drive away, a hidden gem known as "The Secret Beach" whose location can be revealed to you only by the locals!
